Wendesday at the auction of 59 images and paintings with images of Kate Moss at Christie’s in London was paid more than 1.9 million euros
A picture of Kate Moss, created by artist Allen Jones, brought up the most money, more than 130 thousand euros. A portrait photographer Mario Testino for Vogue in 2008, earned about 31 thousand euros on the auction, which drew worldwide attention and was three years ahead prepared. The pieces were in the possession of the German art expert Gert Eaton, who owns a large collection of works where Moss is pictured.
The auctioned pictures are made by big names in photography,such as Bruce Weber, Jürgen Teller, Irvin Penn and Mert & Marcus. There also was an etching auctioned that Kate Moss has made herself, in collaboration with the Chapman brothers. The artwork brought up over 14 thousand euros.
