The British model Alexa Chung is the new face of bags label Longchamp. She will be seen in two campaigns of the brand in 2014
The brand became interested in the model, after Chung had worked as a DJ at the opening of their premium store in London. The photos were made in October by photographer Max Vadukul in Saint Tropez.
“For our new Escales collection we were looking for a woman who is both chic and modern,” says Marie-Sabine Leclercq to the British edition of Vogue. “Alexa is such a woman. Her strong look gives the campaign a lot of personality. She has energy and self-confidence. “The whole team was impressed with her. She has a strong personal vision and contributed a lot to the style of the photos. There was so much energy on the set that we all went home satisfied and happy again.”
The brand has worked earlier with Kate Moss and Coco Rocha. The new campaign officially launches in January of nex year.
