Bulgari Restores the Famous Spanish Steps in Rome

Bulgari is investing € 1.5 million in the historic steps

The Italian jewellery House Bulgari is going to invest in the famous Spanish steps in Rome. The restorations will last for two years, beginning in 2015. Bulgari calls the donation ‘ a special gift to her city ‘ and it is also in honour of the 130th anniversary of the jeweler. The historic staircase was built in the 18th century and is one of Rome’s most famous monuments.

The Italian fashion world is very involved in the renovation of historic monuments: Tod’s helped in the renovation of the Coliseum, Fendi with the Trevi fountain and Prada helped with the restoration of the antique Church San Donato in Cremona in the region of Tuscany.
