‘Fiamma’ Bags by Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo from snake to crocodile – Last Sunday during the fashion show in Milan, Salvatore Ferragamo has launched their new line of bag called ‘Fiamma’  The name refers to the daughter of Salvatore Ferragamo. Fiamma was nearly forty years in service as accessory and shoe designer with the brand and developed the first bag collection.

The new line is designed by Massimiliano Giornetti, the creative director of the Italian label. He was ïnspirered by the family-history of the fashion house. The luxury bags come in different designs and diverse materials, from snake to crocodile leather. The color scheme is in Fall shades of plum, grape and ivory.

The bags don’t come cheep, prices are between $ 1650 (€ 1204) for a mini Fiamma up to $ 28,000 ( €20.428 ) for a medium copy made of crocodile skin. The collection will be on sale, starting May 2014 in the Ferragamo stores.
