Karl Lagerfeld into interior designing – Two days after his fabulous and already legendary fashion show for Chanel at the Paris Fashion Week, Karl Lagerfeld announced that he is going to design a 270 rooms storey hotel in Macau (China), The hotel will be found in the future Lisboa Palace, which is expected to be ready in 2017.
“The hotel is going to be built a 19th century style but on the other hand will be very modern” Karl reported. “As Gabrielle Chanel always said “I make only dresses that I myself would wear”‘ and I make only rooms where I would sleep, it is as plain and simple as that”.
Karl Lagerfeld is getting more and more into interior design, which seems to be one of his true passions. Earlier he has designed interiors for the prestigious Paris Hotel de Crillon, Hôtel Métropole in Monte-Carlo and the Alma Schlosshotel in Berlin.
