Rihanna stirs up the media again – Recently Rihanna has made the headlines with her see-through gown at the CFDA Awards and by posing topless in Lui Magazine. Now she is again stirring thing up with her new campaign for Rogue perfume. According to The Guardian, the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) thinks the ad for the fragrance is too ‘sexually suggestive’. and they determined that the ad must not appear without placement restriction, because it is not suitable for children.
In the ad Rihanna is lying on the floor with her legs raised to a bottle of perfume. “While we did not consider the image to be overtly sexual, we considered that Rihanna’s pose, with her legs raised in the air, was provocative,” said the ASA. “Because of this, and the fact that Rihanna appeared to be naked except for high heels, we concluded that the ad was sexually suggestive and should have been given a placement restriction to reduce the possibility of it being seen by children.”
